Aberdeen European Shopping Property Fund

This fund is designed to invest in a diversified continental European retail portfolio with moderate gearing.

The fund's geographical scope is the whole of continental Europe, with a clear focus on retail property markets offering excellent prospects for direct and indirect returns. Initially, the focus is on North Western Europe including Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, but other countries will be evaluated. The fund aims to create added value through active management at property and porfolio levels.

The Fund will invest in unit shops, shopping centres and retail warehousing. It holds a portfolio of 150 unit shops in inner city locations across the Netherlands and a shopping centre in Veenenland, the Netherlands.

The target return on investor equity is above 9% p.a. (net of fees and after leverage), which includes a cash return of 5% p.a.

The Fund has been designed exclusively for institutional investors.
