The Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation selects Aberdeen as its asset manager

Aberdeen Property Investors has been appointed to manage the Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation’s Swedish property portfolio, worth over SEK 600 million. This portfolio comprises 12 attractively located properties in Stockholm and Malmo, with total floor-space of 32,000 sq m. The assignment is a total undertaking with services extending from property services to portfolio analysis.

Thomas Holm, Aberdeen Property Investors’ COO, commented: “We’re delighted we’ve been entrusted to help the Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation to migrate from traditional property management to the financial management of real estate assets.”

The Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation is an independent trust intended to promote and support scientific research. The Foundation is financed by donations from sources including the Bank of Sweden and Swedish Government.
